Pros
They have occasional parties in the kitchen for every imaginable holiday and occasion which results in free food or snacks. That's it ...
Cons
Too many to count: 1) There is a high school mentality to work relationships, which feels quite awkward. There is a definite air of exclusiveness, and many new people seem depressed and bored. Only people who seem happy are the top management because they control it all, and the co-op students because they know they have a way out of it all. 2) There seems to be a change-averse mindset where management will ask for a change or solution, only to reject it down to keep things same, because they cannot handle change. This is causing them to not grow and constantly lose all clients except one. This is a one-client marketing/advertising firm. 3) There is really bad team morale. People who join often quit within months. Entire HR team (seemingly) quit within a week because of their closed door tactics. 4) Management is petty, often picking on minor details and failing to see the big picture. 5) There are no reviews or feedback given. You may get some feedback but it will not be official. There is a general lack of job security and people seem generally scared to speak their mind, to ensure they can keep their jobs. If you are a "yes person", willing to blindly agree to everything, this company is for you. 6) There is a lack of clarity for procedures. Entire teams will often leave within a month, leaving questions about how to do their job plus, plus mystery surrounding why they left.
