Pros

Great place as far as the people and actual job. I love teaching very much.

Cons

The cons are major however. I have taught there for 8 years and while i am very happy with the job itself, the pay is very low. As an Adjunct with 8 years of time there, I make between 13-16k per year and that is a good year with 4 classes each of the 2 semesters. Almost unsurvivable on 3 classes which for most Adjuncts is the max they can give you. So if you want a great place and a fulfilling job, Kent is AMAZING. Though if you want better pay and benefits, might want to look elsewhere.

Pros

The job was really insightful and opened you up to first-hand IT experience. There's not a lot of pressure as a student employee, and it opens you to diff opportunity across campus. My bosses were really helpful and assisted with balancing scool work and the Job

Cons

The pay wasn't the best as compared to some other roles on campus, but as you get promoted in the role few dollars get added. I think it's just a university-wide issue
