High employee turnover due to lack of support and concern for staff health, especially for newcomers. Frequent exposure to aggressive and violent passengers, including juveniles and homeless individuals, creating unsafe work conditions. Management is disconnected from frontline realities and lacks understanding of the actual duties performed. Staff often forced to pick up work neglected by management due to their absence or inaction. Management frequently out of office, leaving staff without proper leadership or direction. Employees can receive written or verbal warnings for legitimate sick leave, even with medical certificates. Ongoing conflicts with the RTBU union, with non-members being targeted and treated unfairly. Overall toxic culture where employee safety, fairness, and morale are consistently overlooked.
