Pros

Good corporate values, but not embraced by some departments. Great experience working for a global company. Great interaction with people all over the globe. On-site health facility. Great resources for diverse employees, but could do more. Pay decent.

Cons

Seemed like employees were overloaded with work. Work/life balance questionable. Heavy reliance on contractors and agencies shows lack of care for employees. Mid-management level not skilled in managing people. Often promoted because of high skill level in field, but not able to manage people well. Motivate through stick not carrot approach. Employees not given appropriate resources to do their jobs well. Environment not friendly in some departments. Sometimes an overly-corporate feel without compassion and understanding. Not innovative like they promote. Stuck in old ways of doing things. Not progressive. Feeling that employees are not valued. Consumer marketing to customers often somewhat misleading. Doesn't value employee feedback. Non-collaborative in some departments. Little to no budget for initiative that are supposed to be a priority. Support from management non-existent. Lack of opportunities for professional development. Lack of proper planning/goals in some departments. Roadblocks that make it cumbersome to do job.

Pros

Work life balance is very good. Opportunity to engage with senior leadership in interesting projects. The collaboration and camaraderie is top tier! The investment into employees is amazing.

Cons

While I love remote work, it can feel isolating to some. It's not for everyone. I find ways to connect with my team and others at Kimberly-Clark. I also do a good job of managing my time and focus. However, if you struggle in those areas a remote job is not the way to go.
