Sad to see a legendary American company go from good to great to the gutter. All for dividends and PR. - Director Kimberly-Clark Employee Review

Pros

People are familiar with the brands. Learn how to manage large businesses with little to no money and constant budget cuts. Great experience on how to manage through a ton of Senior Leadership complexity and confusion. There are senior leaders in Atlanta, Dallas and Chicago.

Cons

There are senior leaders in Atlanta, Dallas and Chicago. Many especially in Finance, HR and Global marketing are on the same page regarding business needs. It makes it extremely difficult at times. Finance is brutal. The company has been cutting marketing and product efficacy for 10+ years for the investment dividends. The trick is to go with the constant spin (digital transformation, etc) from above to motivate the teams. Hiring has been brutal given the DE&I quotas. It was hard to let good people go and break up families.

Pros

Work life balance is very good. Opportunity to engage with senior leadership in interesting projects. The collaboration and camaraderie is top tier! The investment into employees is amazing.

Cons

While I love remote work, it can feel isolating to some. It's not for everyone. I find ways to connect with my team and others at Kimberly-Clark. I also do a good job of managing my time and focus. However, if you struggle in those areas a remote job is not the way to go.
