Pros

When I was offered a position a Kinetix, I was told that "I will learn more and have more fun than just about anywhere else" and I can confidently say that's held true during my time here. It's a startup environment that empowers their employees to grow and learn, while also functioning as a group of friends with like-minded personal and professional ambitions. Kinetix invests in their employees and provides them opportunities to be independent and creative. Everyone is encouraged to contribute to the growth and success of the company as a whole. However, often times more importantly, they strive and encourage their employees to always continue to learn. This creates an inspiring and motivating place to work. I easily have learned more in my first six months at Kinetix than I did at my previous employer of over three years. Some may consider this a con, but Kinetix promotes a feedback culture. This concept can be difficult for some at first, but being "coachable" is a skill that a lot of companies don't take the time to teach. This will often lead to frustration and repeated issues. At Kinetix, you'll learn to reflect on how something could have been handled differently, regardless of if it was in or out of your control. The management team (including the most senior executives) truly has an open door policy. They encourage their reports to speak openly about any concerns they have. And not only are they willing to listen to any issues, but they act on them. I'll be the first to say that this company is not for everyone, and I think that's what separates Kinetix from the rest. You will be challenged everyday and you have to be willing to put in the work. But - if you are looking for a foundation that will carry over into your professional and personal life, then Kinetix is the company to provide you that opportunity.

Cons

Workload can be high at times but the management team is always willing to listen to the concerns of their employees. There are a lot of internal processes that need to be learned which can be overwhelming for a new employee.

The leadership leads by example and truly cares about every individual. Kinetix feels like a family so it's easy to be yourself in their environment.

Cons

There haven't been many cons to add here. Kinetix has been great and continues to improve.

Pros

- Kinetix hires some of the best people I've ever met. - After work events are quite fun - Learn tech skills at a blazing pace - Bonuses were pretty hefty when I was there.. I've heard they've since disappeared though -Feedback is pretty transparent, though at times brutal, and the company is constantly working towards improving themselves

Cons

- Work/life balance heavily leans towards the work side. Very frequently had to work extra hours to get the job done. Did not feel like we were ever properly staffed due to 2 reasons: high churn and low headcount to begin with - Never been more stressed in my life than when I worked at Kinetix. Very high expectations are put on staff and you can be labeled as "unreliable" if you make too many mistakes. - Feedback often comes off as public shaming. Some higher management make it their life to call out every single problem that occurs publicly. Feedback is then dissected by the entire company - Management often spoke ill of employees who left afterward - Most people here are underpaid for the amount of work they do. CTO walks away with millions while the rest of the team have a hard time making rent. A large number of staff left to other MSPs and made 20k + more than what Kinetix offered -Employees get a sense of stockholm syndrome. They believe that they owe the company their lives due to the career opportunities the company presents, although the company gives little to no equity in return. - A very large sexual assault allegation went completely under the rug. Quite a few employees left the company afterwards because of it
