Pros

Lack of formal dress code, no suit and tie required Laid back atmosphere Military was main customer so you felt good about helping our soldiers A few company perks for sports events, if you could scrounge a ticket from the "inner circle"

Cons

The entire company is ran around the "Inner Circle" and if you are not part of it you can forget ever being anything there Laid employees off while doing a million dollars worht of landscaping changes Forces salary to work long hours at a moments notice and if you can't for some reason you are shunned by the company Basically if you do not commit your every waking hour to the company you are a shunned employee Given vacation days and frowned upon when you try to take them, unless you are in the "inner circle" then you can play golf once a week, miss work for golf events, leave for a trade show a wek in advance, ect. ect. Many more but it would take too long to list them all

Pros

If you’re an actual full time Kipper employee (not employee through the staffing agency), the salary is great.

Cons

The company lacks leaders/management with the right kind of education and training needed to properly lead their team. The company overall is set in their ways and refuse to look at new ways of doing things. It’s all about “this is how we’ve always done it” with no openmidness to change. The owners ultimately care about their bank account at the end of the day and seem to care less about their employees. They see everyone as dispensable and replaceable. There is a substantial lack of cohesion between the various departments as well. It’s not one team, it’s a building with several teams that are all out to get one another. No professional/structured training program for new hires. The training material is made up as they go. Ultimately, it’s a big unorganized mess of a company that does not care about their employees when it comes down to it. As far as benefits go, the health insurance is extremely expensive, there’s no 401k and no maternity leave.
