Pros
A few good people I have met across the journey
Cons
I regret to share my experience working at this company, as it has been nothing short of frustrating and disheartening. Here are the key reasons why I would advise potential candidates to stay away: Hire and Fire Culture: The company follows a purely hire-and-fire culture, where employees are constantly at risk of being let go without any clear reasoning or notice. Job security is practically non-existent, and the environment is toxic because of it. Lack of Local Leadership: The entire upper management team is based in the USA and rarely shows any interest in what’s happening on the floor in India. There’s no real understanding or connection to the challenges employees face on a daily basis, making it extremely difficult to get any support. Fragmented Management: The company is essentially running five different businesses from one building, with management working part-time across multiple companies. This has resulted in a clear lack of focus on any single brand, leaving teams directionless and struggling to deliver. Outdated HR Policies: HR has failed to make any meaningful efforts in the last six months. There have been no HR events or initiatives, and their policies are outdated. Increments are minimal and far below industry standards, leaving employees disheartened and undervalued. Frequent Leadership Changes: The CEO, COO, VPs, CSMs, and managers seem to change constantly. This constant turnover leads to confusion and instability. Employees are continuously being asked to attend Knowledge Transfer (KT) sessions for leadership roles that keep changing, making it nearly impossible to build continuity. Nepotism and Favoritism: New management positions pop up out of nowhere, seemingly created to accommodate favorites who are often underperforming in other parts of the company. This only adds to the frustration, as it feels like leadership is more about personal relationships than merit. Unjustified Resignations: Employees are being forcefully asked to write resignations without any valid reason or prior warning. This lack of transparency and respect towards employees is not only unprofessional but deeply troubling. Lack of Project Management Practices: The company does not follow any established project management practices. Processes are non-existent or poorly implemented, leading to chaotic workflows, missed deadlines, and overall inefficiency. Gratuity Issues: Gratuity is being deducted from employees' salaries, but it does not appear in the salary slips, and the company does not honor it when employees leave. This feels like a violation of trust and is unacceptable. Inconvenient Location: The office is located far from the city center, making it nearly impossible to get public transport or even an auto to reach the office. The commute is a huge burden for employees and adds unnecessary stress. Outdated Technology: The company is still working on very old technology, which offers little opportunity for learning or growth. This is a major drawback for anyone looking to advance their career or develop new skills. Toxic Work Environment: There is constant interdepartmental and intercompany fighting, which creates an atmosphere of chaos, negativity, fear, and distrust. The workplace is toxic, with no sense of camaraderie or collaboration, making it a very stressful place to work. In conclusion, this company has been a major disappointment. With poor leadership, outdated practices, and a lack of respect for employees, I cannot recommend this organization to anyone. The working environment is unpleasant, and the lack of stability makes it hard to stay motivated. I hope the leadership makes significant changes, but as of now, I would advise looking elsewhere.
