Pros
It is like heaven. The owner gives flexibility
Cons
I felt like I got drunk
Pros
* There is a clear strong vision from leadership, with actionable items to accomplish our goals. * Amazing culture and a very positive atmosphere from the entire team * Management is not sugar-coating reality, always communicating the cons next to the celebrated pros 👍 * Trust - a lot of responsibility from day 1. * Above average benefits for a startup -all week catering, 26 vacation days etc. * Employee personal growth is a key metric for leadership
Cons
Normal startup "pains". The company is growing now and naturally, it slows us down a bit, but I believe that after stabilizing we'll create big things
Pros
Remote-friendly and free lunch provided if you come into the office. Mostly friendly people and good work-life balance.
Cons
- Decisions are made without data to back them up. - A lot of critical user actions in the product are not being tracked. - Decisions on which features should we build are made with not enough research/insights to support. Price increases with no justifiable improvement in the product from a customer perspective . Prices nearly doubled and the teams need to communicate the increases as customer benefits. They say English is the working language and this is mostly true. However if you are not German-speaking there are indirect references in comments made by certain people e.g. 'you could do your job better if you spoke German' (i heard this said verbatim). Also made comments about some people not being able to pick up the phone and call customers in German (this was not part of the job description, we have German-speaking customer service)
