Pros

You aren't challenged to be better. Some people seem to take endless time off.

Cons

Messy work environment, people don't clean up after themselves and management doesn't seem to car. Empty cardboard boxes constantly left in front reception area. Deadlines not always met. Huge pay discrepancies between employees. Most workers get hired as contractors without taxes taken out, so you get hurt during tax season. If you are hired FT, sometimes your pay magically becomes a reimbursement and not pay so no taxes taken out. You won't get paid on time, so you have to budget for missing paychecks. They use the minimum workable computer for a task. Poor management. If some good workers come in, they get pulled in every direction possible until they leave. Bad workers are allowed to go on Facebook and YouTube all day. They don't seem to have any of their own IP, which makes for a very unstable work environment. What, 10 years in startup capacity? There are little to no benefits. Communication is horrible and you have to ask what is going on, if you care. There are two people who run the company, Daryl and Ricci. Daryl appears to be a nice guy, but doesn't have good management under him to push the company in the right direction. Ricci gets moody and is rarely there. Workers seriously get abused here, don't work here unless you absolutely need the money.

Pros

Diverse group and fun to hang out with talented coworkers , lots of diverse projects to work on since they work with a lot of big companies such as Konami, Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network etc, situated in a good area with lots of good restraunts, free to come in a bit later during the day on some projects

Cons

Unwritten pressure of wanting you to crunch and leave later since there are lots of tight deadlines, although they won’t hammer you for it, but you will look like the odd man out. Hard to become a full timer there, get salary raises (making you feel like you don’t deserve it), due to budget restraints could lay off almost the whole art team just to compensate for lack of engineering support, a lot of the games while I was there use to crash a lot even the App Store featured ones
