Pros

Because of COVID we are allowed to work from home.

Cons

Add to your job continuously. Never get a decent raise. Find one bad thing on your assessment so they don't have to give you a raise. Do not promote within. You get hired for a job and that is where you stay.

Thank you for your review. An employee’s annual base salary is determined by various factors including the actual job duties performed, the market rate of pay for the job, the employee’s performance, years of job-related experience, and the location where the job is performed. The organization puts a strong emphasis on rewarding significant contributors and high potential employees. We encourage you to reach out to your HR Business Partner to discuss further.

Pros

There are plenty of great coworkers.

Cons

The management is atrocious across the board, and only gets worse the further up you go. There are a few great managers/supervisors, but they're few and far between. If you're part of a branch that is unionized, your progression is limited based on the current contract. If you're in a branch that isn't, your progression is limited by the whims of those above you - regardless of how well that you perform. In the union branches, management's dumb decisions can be tempered by the union getting involved. In the non-union branches, they can (and will) force you to work overtime even if there is no justification or work available at times. They can (and will) refuse PTO even if its approved months in advance. They can (and will) go on power trips, ruin morale, and run programs into the ground.
