Pros

Lovely students, nice colleagues at my centre, pay not bad.

Cons

Where to start. HQ are a shitshow and have zero respect for their staff. You can be teaching 5 classes plus parent teacher meets and assessments on a Saturday and Sunday with a 30 minute break. Cannot take leave termtime, only in term breaks when they push you to work. Overworked and not appreciated. If you take MC, there is no cover, you might have to work in term breaks to make up for missed classes. If you raise these concerns to HQ, you get an aggressive response and made to feel awful in front of everyone. They are always trying to think of 'new' ways to train the teachers but it patronising and so out of date. Zero career opportunities. You are just there to do your job and they don't see what you are actually capable of. There have been times when I have not been paid when I was on hospital leave, this is against the law. I have been asked to carry my leave forward to the next year, when I said no, they said I had to, also against the law. They decide on how things will go with zero consideration for their teachers, fellow human beings. I was there too long, it was not this bad at the beginning when we had difference management. It is purely down to your franchise owner, ours was HQ at the end. I was very stressed and suffered from anxiety due to Lcentral. I feel like I have escaped a cult. Best thing I did was leave there.

Pros

Flexible Work Arrangement LCentral offers a hybrid work model that allows employees to work from home or on-site. As a working mother, this flexibility has made it easier to juggle family responsibilities and work commitments effectively. Supportive Team Culture The work environment is friendly and collaborative. Colleagues are always ready to help one another, and there’s a strong sense of teamwork across departments—even when things get busy. Open Communication The company uses digital platforms that promote transparency and open dialogue. This makes collaboration smoother and ensures that feedback is heard and acted upon.

Cons

Lean Team Being part of a small team means you often have to take on multiple roles and responsibilities. While this can be a good opportunity to learn, it can also be overwhelming during high-demand periods or when multiple campaigns run concurrently.
