Pros
- Aside from management, there's great team camaraderie but only because you'll be there late nights, on weekends, and on holidays to meet deadlines - Office location is great, close to good food and stores - You learn how much you can do before you break, but is this really a good thing? - Good opportunities to network in the industry, occasional dinners out at nice restaurants
Cons
- High expectations with few check-ins aside from meetings designed to frighten and emphasis urgency - Invisible promotions because of high turnover rate (but can get good title for resume building) - Lots of micro-managing - Little trust or consideration of employees and their ideas even when they perform well or exceed expectations
