Luckily I have a Senior Executive Manager (SEM) that allows me to do my job to the best of my ability. It's not dictatorship. The SEM knows the difficulties the Property Managers face on a site level. The SEM trusts that we are working in the best interest of the company with the limited resources we've been provided.
Cons
1) The pay is not even close to being competitive, and the incentive bonus is not even honored.
2) Majority of the properties are tax credit and cash flow is very tight. We end of paying invoices anywhere from 6 months to a year instead of 30 net. This creates a lot of frustration with our vendors and builds a bad reputation.
