Pros

I have been with the company for just under two years as an Application Development Manager, and my experience has been consistently positive. The owners genuinely care about employees and demonstrate this through competitive compensation, solid benefits, and a respectful, people‑first culture. The working environment is business casual and professional, which helps create a comfortable and collaborative atmosphere. Work‑life balance is a clear priority here. Expectations are reasonable, and there is an understanding that sustainable performance comes from trust, flexibility, and respect for personal time. This makes it easier to stay engaged and productive without burnout. From a technology perspective, leadership views IT as a strategic asset rather than a support function and cost center. The owners are willing to invest in modern enterprise platforms such as CRM, SCM, WMS and TMS systems. They support initiatives that improve efficiency and long‑term scalability. The organization is also open to adopting AI and exploring its use in day‑to‑day business operations, which reflects a forward‑thinking mindset.

Cons

As with many growing organizations, processes and systems are still evolving. This can sometimes mean ambiguity or the need to build structure while delivering results. Change can move quickly when priorities shift, which may require adaptability from team members.

Pros

Owner and son are incredible people. So many kind, authentic coworkers. Good health benefits and 401K match.

Cons

Base salary for tenured food packaging reps not inline with new hires or competitors. Great for new hires but not for those who worked hard and were loyal. Culture has changed drastically. When I started at LK everyone loved working there. People were happy, engaging and there was a true sense of TEAM. It is now a “good ole boy” club.
