Pros
- Decent working environment and flexbility - a lot of free time to pursue own learning paths and learn from others in the company. - Good stepping stone organisation, to learn basics and move on. - Pay is just about adequate - Benefits are industry standard and adequate - Broad range of experience, working with people from different backgrounds. - Somewhat interesting product with potential in the market.
Cons
- Tightly held business, with little to no vision/foresight from management. - No appropriate lines of esclations, everything is bottlenecked at management. - No attention paid to training staff past the initial period, everything is dependent on more tenured junior staff. -Management inexperienced with talent retention and people management - no-mid management to mitigate these effects.
