Pros
- New building is nice, but employee benefits slowly disappearing and layoffs happened right after - Work can be diverse - Opportunities to learn if you are in the right team - There are some very smart and hard working people in this company
Cons
- Incompetent CEO that visibly shows annoyance/rage at the slightest inconvenience - Extremely nepotistic environment. People directly related to the CEO are fast-traked on promotion, even on project failure. The CEO loves to hire from the CEO's alma mater, which results in significantly higher pay for new grads vs people who just joined that has experience or with higher degree. Think of a PhD new grad being placed on the same level as an undergrad from the CEO's alma mater. - Most of the "elite" upper management only worked in this company since graduation, so they don't know industry standards. People in charge of release/QA have no idea what to do, and when questioned, visibly tries to make your life harder so you can stop questioning their decisions. - Employee "benefits" like clubs, are just for show. No one attends because club funds are from employees pockets. - Food offered used to be good, but now they are appetizer sized. Imagine eating 1 slider and 5 potato chips and having the audacity to call it a "lunch" - Company has new building, but all the employee "benefits" started to suddenly disappear as well as people getting laid off
