Pros
The biggest pro is the culture and the team. There are some really smart developers and everyone is very helpful. There is no tight schedule that you are supposed to follow and the team will make the ceremonies work considering everyone's preferred working hours. Since LeadIQ is a startup that is in the growing stage, the projects are very interesting and have huge impact. So it does NOT get boring :D It's quite likely to be assigned a project that needs to be build from scratch rather than be given a huge legacy system to be maintain. LeadIQ uses scala across all services at the backend, which is the primary reason that made me apply a couple years back. (only a few ML services are different and use Python) In terms of compensation and perks, the dental insurance provided by the company is great! The salary is now at par with other companies in the tech sector in Singapore (as opposed to a few years back when the company was still only seed funded).
Cons
A small office with very little natural light in Singapore (although in a good location in Tanjong Pagar). No canteen with free food like the big companies.
