Best job I ever had

The hours are quite long

I have started to work for Leadscale Engine 6 months ago and my experience till date was excellent! The company is growing and it provides loads of opportunities to develop your skills and advance in your career. Everything is very well organised, including the teams management, the daily tasks; everyone knows very well what their responsibilities are and everyone receives the support they need, regardless if that is technical or emotional. Leadscale also focuses on encouraging staff to grow both personally and professionally. Similarly, it understands the importance of work life balance and respects that very well. The teams are formed of collaborative, intelligent and supportive members, always willing to offer support if needed. During my experience, I received substantial help from my Technical Services Executive team, which is formed by very smart and creative people, communication being one of the elements this team relies on. Not only them, but during my stay at Leadscale I felt that teams are so well organised and communicate so well one with each other, aspect that I have rarely seen in other companies I worked prior to Leadscale. This gives you the feeling that you are working within a large family who is always there for you when you need it. The CEO, Robin Caller is probably one of the most intelligent people I have met so far and a great leader for his employees. The HR Manager, Maneka Janahan is very supportive, well organised, and ready to answer to all the questions and help with any issues that you have while working for this company. The amount of help I received from her with the onboarding process but also in general is huge. Her professionalism and management skills are high, bringing a great value to this company. The same amount of support I received from our Technical Services Director, Francis Liming who encouraged me since day 1 as a Tech Services Executive. I was listened and felt appreciated for the ideas I shared, my projects and any contribution I made to the team. If there are a few words to describe him, those would be; creativity, involvement and intelligence. The working hours were great for me, Friday being a short day with working hours until 4pm. For me the possibility to combine working from home with coming in the office 1-2 days a week was amazing. The office building was recently refurbished and it now looks modern and cozy. This is a place you can call home, most of the employees have been here a long time, which proves that it is a great environment to work in. All my admiration for everyone working here and I am sure this company will grow fast in the next coming years. All the best from me, Simona <3
