Dear colleague, thank you for taking the time to share these suggestions, and your perspective. You’ve clearly put some thought into this, and while some of it’s not easy to hear, we do appreciate your honest opinions.
We’re not perfect, and we’re actively soliciting feedback from employees so that we can make changes for the better. We do ask everyone in the company to work hard, but in return we also have a lot to offer. We are proud of the fact that we manufacture in the U.S. and not overseas, even if that does make things more challenging sometimes.
We have made some progress to help make sure that everyone in a leadership role understands the experience of people in different departments, at all levels.
We want to break down the barriers that contribute to an us/them environment, because when it comes down to it, we’re all on the same team. We’re working towards a common goal together, and we need to have respect and understanding throughout the business in order to be successful and happy.
From what we can see here, it sounds like we could do a better job of explaining why certain changes are happening, so that it doesn’t seem like things are happening without thought or a big-picture plan.
You have a lot to say, and it would be great to continue this conversation one-on-one, if you’re willing, please reach out to HR or your manager.
We wish you all the best.
