Legal Placements

Is this your company?

Good if you have a secondary source of income. - Legal Secretary Legal Placements Employee Review

Pros

It works if you have another source of income, or if you truly plan to work only briefly between permanent jobs.

Cons

Pays only $20 per hour, with NO opportunity to make more, and no hopes of the rate being raised, not to mention that there are NO benefits whatsoever. Not a good primary source of income. (Of course, we have NO idea how much the agency actually charges the client per hour.)

Pros

Absolutely none. I would recommend ANY other agency over LPI.

Cons

If I could give zero stars, I would. Dishonest, aggressive, and extremely rude. They found out another agency submitted me for a job, and lied to the HR Director the Firm I went for the interview at (submitted by another agency) telling him that they no longer worked with me, yet were calling me daily. I then tried to confront them about their lack of integrity, but of course, they did everything they could to avoid the situation. To make matters worse, they had some of my belongings from a contract position and refused to release them to me. Ultimately, I had to call the police and initiate a small claims dispute for the value to simply retrieve my belongings. I'm now with another agency who also says they hear countless stories of their lack of integrity, rude behavior, and aggressive attempts to keep you in low paying temp jobs instead of looking for permanent placement. With so many agencies in No. VA, MD and DC, avoid LPI at all costs and go anywhere else!

Sorry to hear you feel this way. Unfortunately, as an employer, we are not allowed to air the other side of the story and nor do we think it is ethical to do so. Best of luck to you.
