The tips are usually great because there's hardly anyone to split them with. Turnover is high, and the people that do stick around comprise a skeleton crew that has an unreasonable number of duties. Management likes to keep you part time so they don't have to pay benefits, and they wonder why you can't get everything done when you have 5 industrial garbage bags full of leftover donuts to hurk out to the trash at the end of the night and a bazillion trays to clean because, oh yeah, somebody made too many donuts. Again.

Job itself is fun. Decorating and customers are happy for the most part.

Ownership, weekly schedules posted 3 days in advance with no consistency, no breaks, no way to trace tips (pooled and dispersed, wage is minimum plus tips, falsely advertised), forced holidays and no holiday pay (legal but bad practice).
