Pros

I would say there aren't any pros working at Lendr.

Cons

The lack of professionalism and abundance of juvenile employees at Lendr is so astounding, it feels like high school all over again. They recently laid off a ton of workers due to the company’s performance. Just seeing how the sales team operates, they are funding terrible deals to make commission and then pressure the underwriters to approve these high-risk loans. It's no wonder why this place is a sinking ship. They are not able to retain talented people since there are no real opportunities for career growth. The 'boy's club' mentality is very apparent here, you constantly hear gossip of managers and high-level mgmt talking bad about other people. And overall technology is extremely frustrating, things are continuously breaking down or not being fixed by engineers.

Pros

Stronger understanding of lending while learning from coworkers with extensive industry knowledge. Productive discussions with the loan team. New learning opportunities throughout the year. The experience helps me build confidence and strengthen my ability to evaluate information carefully and accurately.

Cons

Workloads can increase quickly, requiring careful organization to keep everything on track.

Pros

My manager was not the problem. The paychecks arrived on time.

Cons

- I was promised flexibility during the interview, including working from home a few days each week and opportunities to take on special projects and drive improvements. - Once I arrived, those promises disappeared. Everything was office based, and the special projects turned out to be nothing but empty words. - I watched people remain stuck for years because there was no genuine path for advancement despite how aggressively it was promoted during hiring. - The career growth discussed in interviews simply does not exist once you are inside. - The whole experience felt like a complete bait and switch, and I wasted the first few months hoping things would improve. - By the fourth month, it was painfully clear that nothing was going to change.
