Pros
Work life balance and compensation were okay but Charleston is an expensive place to live. The Chief Medical Officer was a great resource, a benefit that I have not seen in other jobs.
Cons
Executives seem to have back office discussions behind closed doors. Trust was lacking among mid level management. A good example was our Division President resigned his position and the Regional President did not say a word or give any reassurance to the staff remaining in the division. I feel like the move to a different Regional President had an adverse affect on the employee engagement. When aligned with the prior Regional President (whom retired), there seemed to be much better communication and transparency.
