      Pros

      I've been working as a tutor here for around 2 years, and it has worked out well for me. The platform is very easy to use and the customer service has also been fantastic. I get to decide the pay and the timings and the commission Lessonpal charges is very less.

      I haven't come across any cons so far.

      Pros

      It's generally not hard to find people to tutor (especially during the school year), and the quality of students is generally pretty high. You do have to reply to a lot of ads, but if you do that you will find people. Lessonpal handles all of the payment stuff so I don't have to worry about that.

      Cons

      You do have to pay your own self-employment taxes since Lessonpal isn't an employer and so doesn't send you a W-2 form.

      Everyone undercuts their rates, so hard to get payed well.
