Pros
Having joined Lewis Brownlee with little experience but seeking the opportunity to start my career, I feel very lucky that I was offered an entry-level role here. Since then, I have gained invaluable experience and a wide range of skills, allowing me to progress to my current position as part of the management team. I feel as though this company offers a lot to anyone at any level in their career, because they care about their staff's wellbeing and development and really encourage effective teamwork. The social events and enjoyable working environment means I’ve made great friendships and fun memories throughout my time here. The LB team works hard to provide a quality service for their clients, but the leadership team take care to ensure the staff are looked after. In the last year, a conscious effort has been made to be proactive in collating and reviewing staff feedback. In doing so, new initiatives have been introduced, such as Birthday leave, increased annual leave, and benchmarking salaries! When I compare where I work with others I know, I feel grateful to be where I am.
Cons
As much as the Chichester office is a lovely building and with beautiful surroundings, it is annoying that you can’t walk down to the shops (luckily the Midhurst and Whiteley offices have more shops/eateries within walking distance!). The car park at Chichester can sometimes prove to be slightly problematic due to the size and layout (although free to use and is onsite). Parking at Midhurst and Whiteley is never an issue.
