Pros

My specific department had was close-knit, had time off when needed, decently generous vacation/time off benefits. My immediate boss was fantastic.

Cons

Absolutely no room for growth, layoffs of long-term employees, high turnover, low pay (raises were a joke -- didn't even keep up with cost of living). Extra work/responsibilities constantly pushed off on employees instead of hiring new staff. Training was minimal and you could tell everyone was too busy to train you properly.

Pros

Pay, benifits, training, environment, freedom

Cons

Advancement takes 20yrs, pay is good but only if you get a counter offer and they match.

Pros

Vacation benefits are pretty generous when compared to other companies (10 days first year prorated, 8 paid holidays, 3 flex holidays) but you have to wait a year to get sick time. Some of the employees are genuinely nice, hard-working people who know a lot about the business. Company has huge potential for growth.

Cons

Upper management does not communicate effectively with middle management or any other employees, often leaving them blind to initiatives, goals, objectives, and overall company performance. Some members of the upper management staff are extremely corrupt and blatantly dishonest. Take it or leave attitude makes workplace morale grim. Some departments are expected to do an unreasonable amount of work for a typical 8 hour day. Even the best employees can't keep up with the perceived expectation (like I said, no communication). Recent layoffs have disintegrated whatever positivity was left. The few initiatives which do reach the lower-management staff often feel rushed and/or unplanned with unreasonable timelines for completion/results and no real guidance or resources to accomplish anything meaningful.
