Pros

There are a lot of pros, but I will try and focus on what I am most excited about. The people from leadership on down are all very smart but also very empathetic and willingly to help with anything. We have an amazing product and engineering team that listens to customer feedback and puts into action fast. As a CS leader this is invaluable as it keeps our customers happy and excited about their partnership with us. There is very little ego at Lexion, people want to solve problems together and very little interest in caring about who gets credit for something. Ideas come from every part of the org.

Cons

Startups in the Series B phase are hard, becoming a teenager from a kid and process is changing consistently can be a challenge but we have the right team to do it!

Pros

Tech: The engineering and product team here is exceptional and one of the best I've ever worked with in my tech career. They are customer centric, open to addressing any customer issue, and roll out new features faster than I can learn them. Team: A lot of startups are run or founded by people who are inexperienced or have high ego. I have not seen that at Lexion. The leaders are experienced and listen to the input of customers and employees. Ownership: If you love building, you'll love that you are given that chance here to build a solution to a pain point you identify, take ownership of it, and then get kudos for your execution and impact. Your impact is visible and appreciated - it's rewarding and a great growth opportunity.

Cons

The company is growing fast and primarily remote, which means there are sometimes process and miscommunication bumps along the way. Totally normal and I see the teams working on scaling and improving these bumps. But if you need a lot of structure, want to work limited hours, and are not a self-starter, Lexion may not be a place for you.
