Pros

- Welcome pack - Decent induction

Cons

I was hired by an interim CTO without having spoken to my line manager who mentioned to me that I didn't have the right skills for the job 3 months into my probation. Culture was to terminate and not train when you made mistakes - toxic to say the least.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback; both positive and areas for improvement. We are open about the fact that we are driving a high performance culture and have ambitious goals for our business, and employees as a result. We're not clear from the review when your experience was (we have had a permanent CTO since 2021). but 99% of our new starters this year have successfully passed their probation. As part of our onboarding, we have set frameworks in place to provide coaching, tools, support and ongoing feedback throughout the first 3 months and beyond. I'm sorry that your experience did not meet our own high standards. You are welcome to provide any further feedback to us via people@liberis.co.uk.

Pros

Smart and supportive colleagues, strong learning environment, and good exposure to underwriting and fintech operations. The role gives you real responsibility and helps build commercial judgment quickly. There are opportunities to develop skills, work with interesting merchants, and gain experience in a fast-moving business.

Cons

The pace can be demanding, and workloads can feel heavy during busy periods. Priorities can shift quickly, which sometimes creates pressure and makes it harder to maintain balance. Some processes could be more streamlined, and communication across teams can occasionally be inconsistent.

We also appreciate you raising the challenges that can come with balancing tasks during peak periods and navigating changes, we would encourage you to discuss any additional support you would benefit from with either the People team or your manager. Thanks for your continued contributions to Liberis.
