If they "alledgedly" don't get paid neither do you!!? I had worked over new years eve doing two jobs and one not being the greatest venue in the world but it's a job. The brief clearly stated that they would only use pics that showed a "Certain clientele" The problem is that this particular night that "Clientele" went to another venue so it was basically polishing a turd, making good use of the over 60's that were there. Once uploaded lick list said the client wasn't gonna pay as I assume the pics didn't reflect the night......er hello. Basically to cut a long story short I didn't get paid and still haven't been paid after a round trip of about 60miles which, they don't pay for the usage or milage of your car, but thats what you sign up to which, ok if you work the hours it makes up for it. Fair enough if the venue don't want to pay, but I'm not working for the venue I'm working for Licklist. I understand that everyone's in it to nick a few quid but just to blatently knock you for a nights work isn't the way to do things. If they had turned round to me and said, look the venue hasn't paid but we'll compensate you for your milage and wear and tear I'd probably still be doing it, but out and out getting knocked isn't business or professional.
