Pros

The job offered good opportunities to get to meet other freelance photographers and artists that took the job for the paycheck. some management was very helpful and understanding of issues.

Cons

The amount of equipment needed was excessive and took up all the space in my SUV. The job required photographers to be at schools at opening meaning plenty of 4am departure times. Scheduling was a nightmare, they sent photographers 60 miles away from their home when other photographers live closer to the shoot locations and sent them in the other direction. the amount of driving and ware and tear on your car is not worth the salary or the 25c /mile

Pros

Great Sales Team. Remote based position.

Cons

-Losing out to competitors has become acceptable or business as usual. -Management has become out of touch with what is going on in the field. -Outdated Photography equipment. -There is constant turnover with photographers. Difficult to keep good people when they are not paid well & have no structure. -Company is very reactionary. Making cuts seems to always be their answer to solve low profits.
