Pros
Ability to learn new skills if willing to be under paid, under appreciated, and over worked.
Cons
Micro management, lack of communication, under qualified supervisors, poor business practices and decisions fueled by huge egos. They play favorites. They under pay you, expect way too much out of you, and under appreciate you. They only communicate to you to tell you you are doing a bad job, even if not true. They play the blame game. One time I got invited to a meeting only to be yelled at by the CEO in front of my co workers for something that I didn't do. They do not recognize you for going above and beyond, they only expect it. They listen to poorly selected, under qualified supervisors who like to stab you in the back if they don't like you. Benefits are not that great. Production team is grossly under paid and micro managed. Extremely poor financial management (always broke with no money to improve, wastes money on superfluous things). Toxic work environment. Unsafe conditions at the work place, no regard for safety. Reactive, not proactive management. Shady business practices like not paying vendors, or ignoring customers. They tried to take away vacation time from me when I resigned. DO NOT WORK HERE! The CEO is not a nice person at all, at any time. His ego is the main reason this place is going down hill. His way or the highway. They skirt the law, like using dangerous chemicals in the warehouse that gave 20+ employees sever headaches and fevers. They instill fear. Anyone is replaceable. High turn over rate. They do not listen to employee's ideas (unless you are a favorite). They rush all the time to bring product to market, only to have to recall products and waste a ton of money fixing the problems instead of getting it right the first time. Many failed projects due to this practice. There is no quality assurance or testing before products go live. They only care about selling the product as soon as possible because if they don't they will be broke again. "I don't care if we haven't tested it yet, let's just build it, ship it, and fix the problems later." -direct quote from Daniel, the CEO. DO NOT WORK HERE!
