Pros

-For the most part a great atmosphere -Great coworkers, no big egos to worry about -Get to work next to amazing equipment

Cons

-Disrespectful management When I worked there I literally was part of meetings where management badmouthed the most senior engineer in the room for asking appropriate questions that pertained to him doing his job. This happened every single day. The effect was the senior engineer was treated very poorly by other engineers in his department and had to work in what I would easily classify isolated as abusive conditions. The management always and aggressively wanted answers to their questions without giving the engineering staff any time to conduct research. The honest answer of "I don't know right now" was not acceptable. This lead engineers to give answers and time estimates to satisfy the immediate situation but also generate product deadlines that were never possible to meet. I watched engineers develop rediculous solutions due to poor management communication. One example I was directly part of happened because management refused to make a desition on what wall charger would be interfacing to what battery pack size and an $80 PCB board had to be developed to interface any wall charger to any battery pack (that's $80 a piece at volume mind you). This went to market and so did the cost! All in all, if management isn't giving you a hard time it's a great place to work. However, this just goes to show how improper leadership can hinder a company.
