Pros

Lightpath leadership goes out of their way to provide every opportunity for folks in the field to succeed. They are knowledgeable and work very hard to put contractors in a position to excel.

Cons

The work is difficult because it is outdoors and you need to plan on working long days while you are learning. It gets easier as you adjust to the rhythm of the work and increase your knowledge.

Pros

There are no pros to working for this company.

Cons

100 percent travel with no expenses covered. You are a 1099 contract employee with no benefits. You will be told you can make up to 3000 dollars per week, which is true for half of the year if you dont plan on paying taxes, you want to sleep in your car or a tent, and you dont plan on eating every day. You will not receive your first check untill 6 to 8 weeks after you start which means you need 10k to 15k in your bank to survive on the road for the first 8 weeks (this includes your first week of training in Texas, and then a week if training in the field. also at your expense). For the other half of the year they cannot provide you with enough work to make more than 1000 dollars a week. Jobs are payed based mostly on footage of the job, You will find yourself doing alot of work that you dont get paid for. After Taxes and expenses you can expect to make about 15 dollars per hour.
