Pros

Pros are limited but some nice people

Cons

This is my first time ever writing on glassdoor. Unorganized and they talk a lot of promise but the product is not strong. They hire tutors that are not qualified to work with students. When Littera gets bad ratings on glassdoor CEO tells everyone to go on here and give 5's and say good stuff. The benefits are terrible and how they treat people when they are gone from Littera is horrible. Much of management are a circle of friends they take care of each other. Littera is what is wrong with education the get grants and other private funding and their work does very little to increase student achievement. The leadership team pays themselves big salaries and they are connected to others they get contracts from because they know the board etc.. This is part of what hurts education.

Thank you for your feedback, we are sorry that your experience while working here was not the normal team member experience. Our team members have shared that our benefits are exceeding expectations, that we have competitive salaries and have a collaborative team. We are excited for the impact we are making with students across the country and our tutors are receiving amazing scores and comments from their students and schools. We wish you best success in your future endeavors.

Pros

100% remote work! Fun and friendly support and staff! Easy to maneuver online virtual classrooms. Great students! Great Management! Decent Pay!

Cons

Not many weekly workable hours that add up to part-time labor. Website states up to 25 hours per week maximum, however that means you can get anywhere from 1-25 hours per week depending upon school:student needs.
