Avoid like the plague, PLEASE - Anonymous employee Live True London Employee Review

I really enjoyed working for Live True, I have now moved up north but wish they had a Live True salon in my new village. Lots of career support, great pay and many opportunities to grow. The team is lovely and I felt really supported. I learned so much and my colour work really improved.

The clients sometimes expect a lot but that is in most London salons.

Team and clients are nice

Management is very poor and does not support staff effectively. The workplace is disorganized, with little consideration for employees’ well-being or clients’ experience. Breaks are often not respected, even during very long shifts, which creates an unhealthy work environment. Communication is unprofessional, with staff being pressured outside of work hours and frequently blamed for issues caused by management decisions. The booking system is poorly adapted, leaving insufficient time for services, which leads to client dissatisfaction. Hygiene and safety standards are not consistently maintained, which is concerning in a salon environment. Overall, there is a lack of respect for employees and no culture of constructive feedback or accountability from management.
