Pros
I think the leadership has good intentions. Their heart is in the right place for the most part. Great agents working there. Unlimited paid time off is great BUT has to be set up by staff working with each other with no good leadership or direction on how to do that.
Cons
Staff are overworked and underpaid and not respected. Very limited mobility or growth opportunities within the company. Agents are independent contractors so, while a staff person gets to work with them they are not employed by Living Room Realty. The W2 employees are treated like second class citizens by the owner and leadership team. Even the agents have noticed it and tried to intervene. The owner promises excellent work life balance but piles on way more work than can actually be accomplished and then penalizes staff when they try to balance sitting at front desk to answer phones with picking up office, handling marketing, servicing agent needs and running personal errands for the owners. They are paid for basic secretarial serviced but are actually executive assistants to agents, real estate marketing experts, contract collection and oversight and a hundred other specialty skills. In fact employees have been fired for not doing a good job when the agents (who are the only ones who interact with the staff on a daily basis) have reported glowing reviews on the effectiveness and responsiveness of the staff. The staff person was fired BECAUSE the agents suggested that the staff needed more equitable pay to match their level of expertise and commitment to quality.
