No cons I can think of

Benefits medical and RX are plus including pensions. Dental could be better.

Union Reps are at will employees. Micromanaged and over worked. ran like a company and not an organization. Pay range should be based on experience and time not trying to match up to “competitive” salaries. Claim to have unlimited sick and personal time off but are spoken to if you exceed a certain amount of days. Union has an HR person who just goes by a different job title to hide the fact they’re running like a company. Don’t match 401k. They have favorites. Keep the president out of the loop of a lot of things.
