bad - Technician Logic PD Employee Review

When working here, I was constantly challenged and grew a lot in my career, but most of this was self imposed. If you enjoy free reigns and are self disciplined this will work perfectly for you. The people make this company what it is.

There is no direction and no communication. If you are looking for guidance I would recommend looking at a place with more structure.

You will work with really smart people on interesting products and projects. There are opportunities to work on a range of projects, so it's a good place if you like variety in the work. Easy access to upper management - I got to work on projects for the leadership team and they would take the time to meet with you if needed. The CEO would hold informal daily stand-up meetings with a lot of the office in attendance - it was a good way to keep in the loop on key accounts and changes within the business. I don't agree with some comments about the leadership team in other reviews. I really enjoyed working with them; they are all great people and across the board there was a very direct approach to management and communication.

During the time of transition, at times I felt unclear about what the company strategy was and where we were headed. I think this could have been communicated better. I want to point out that a lot of the changes being made seemed necessary and that there was some bitterness among employees for changing the way things had been (see other reviews). In some cases, there was a lot of resistance to change due to the mentality of maintaining the status quo. Every company and project will undergo changes at some point and I didn't mind them as I understood they were necessary, some employees didn't feel this way. What I think Logic PD could improve on is communicating the overall direction of the company and the reasons that the changes need to be made.
