Pros

None. I left a very successful career for promises that I should have gotten in writing.

Cons

I would give 0 stars if I could. This company has recently been acquired, and the new owners are horrible. The co-founder of the company was horrible to work for. He desperately wanted me to work for him, and was very fast and furious at getting me on the team. I had some initial concerns as he didn't fully describe the job position 'it will develop. don't worry', and I decided to trust him. Initially, I got no training, no direction. He would send me emails at 11pm then ask me at 8am the next day if I had completed the task from last night. I would send him an email, then a follow-up, and not here from him for days. I had a boundaries talk with him about how difficult it is to be successful when I don't hear from him for days, and how I don't work at 11pm. I was let go after that talk. He's a good example of how not to lead.

Pros

- Fun work environment - Talented employees across the board - Flexibility - Small company that feels very personable - Opportunity for advancement - Leadership works with you to help you find a position that really suits your skills

Cons

- Start up mentality that requires you keep your nose to the grind - Must be a self starter in order to succeed, not the right fit for those that aren't "go-getters"
