Pros

Most of the day you don’t have to talk to anyone.

Cons

If you’re not in good terms with the operations manager, prepare to get the worst routes. If you call off, prepare to have your schedule messed with. If you’re not one of the lucky guys that has a set route then you’ll be on a different route everyday. The turn around rate is extremely high. Most guys don’t last more than a couple months before they’re fired or quit. This is just a job. Don’t expect to move up the ladder. Before, you can put in a ton of overtime hours but now they don’t want any overtime done. Most guys don’t even get the pay increase to become technicians opposed to drivers. As someone who’s been in the company for 5 years, the cons list goes on and on. Overall, to risk your life for the pay it’s not worth it.

Pros

Weekday schedule that's almost set hours when fully staffed. When people call out, expect to work overtime and watch your manager leave before you.

Cons

Management sucks. Lots of favoritism going on. PTO policy is constantly shifting and reasoning seems flimsy. If you're dying and call out with no PTO, best to just quit and find a new job because you will be fired. But expect to see other people treated with leniency and not be held to the same standard as others.
