Pros

Our organization is a large, industry‑leading company that still operates with the warmth and support of a small town. Employees genuinely look out for one another, and leadership consistently goes above and beyond to ensure everyone has what they need to succeed. It’s an environment where both early‑career talent and seasoned professionals can thrive. Management is deeply invested in each person’s career path, offering real guidance, meaningful development opportunities, and a clear plan for growth.

Cons

One of the things I appreciate most about this company is its commitment to supporting employees. As we continue to grow, expanding work‑from‑home opportunities would further strengthen work–life balance and allow teams to be even more productive. Additionally, offering a broader range of retirement plan options would empower employees to better prepare for the future. These enhancements would build on the already strong foundation of care and support our organization is known for.

Good opportunity for growth and gaining experience in a professional environment. Team members are generally supportive and willing to help when needed. There are opportunities to learn new skills and take on more responsibility over time. Work environment is fairly stable and expectations are reasonable.

Pros

They would pay for your hotel stay Extra pay if you choose not to accept their medical insurance. Steady hours (sort of)

Cons

They would switch your locations without giving you a heads up. So you would have to travel a ways. They will try to reduce your pay moving you to a new location. Which they messed people over with that. Breach of contract, even though they say they will pay you a certain amount for the year and say you will stay in your location for the whole year. They will try to get you to switch within the 6 months. And make some reason to lower your pay. Went from 21.95 to 18.75 . They leave you alone to care of multiple detainees that some locations should have two people, and a physician. Not just a support. Limit your abilities to what your scope of practice can be. There are those few EMT’s that will have your back but others, you cannot trust them. Will make nothing into something and will try to have you look bad. Possibly even physicians Their EMR program will have glitches and make your report incomplete, but you will be the one responsible for it. And later reprimanded. Overall main management higher than the supervisors are shady people. Do not trust a word the recruiters say, or what they say. Read your contract and print it!! They will screw you if they can. You are expendable to them and they wont care. Shady disloyal group.
