Pros
Working here has been a refreshing experience, especially with the work flexibility offered. The balance between working from home and coming into the office is just right, accommodating personal schedules while maintaining team interaction. The company's involvement with famous top-tier global enterprises highlights its potential and the exciting opportunities we possess for making a significant impact. The office’s location right above Central Station in Sydney couldn’t be more convenient for commuting. Leadership has a clear and inspiring vision that aligns well with our goals and projects. For junior engineers, the learning opportunities are fantastic; the company provides a fund specifically for junior engineers to develop new skills, which is a huge advantage in staying updated with the latest technologies in computer vision, machine learning and software engineering.
Cons
The nature of client-driven projects means deadlines can sometimes be very tight. Customers occasionally require urgent solutions, which adds pressure to deliver quickly. While it's manageable and adds to the job's dynamic nature, it’s something to be prepared for. Additionally, the building’s coffee situation is less than ideal due to short staffing, which often leaves us with subpar coffee from the machine. It’s a small thing, but for coffee lovers, it might be a bit disappointing.
