      Pros

      I've worked for USWest/Qwest/CenturyLink for over 10 years. I enjoy my job. Just enough technical challenge and variety. I enjoy helping customers.

      Cons

      It's more about the storm clouds on the horizon. Leadership in Monroe wants to slash pay and benefits. They will try to break our union, either by using contractors or moving our jobs to Monroe.

      Easy to learn, manageable schedule, supportive management

      Cons

      Changes in systems with many malfunctions, confusing workflows, policies set with little guidance (like figure it out yourself)

      Pros

      Good pay, great benefits, great people to work with, boss is great, etc.

      Cons

      Company is undergoing transformation, so it's a bit chaotic. Have to work with old stuff and new stuff at the same time. Hopefully that will change as we transform further.
