      Pros

      Most of the individuals on the teams I have contact with seem enthusiastic to help.

      Cons

      Significant confusion since January 1st when former Savvis/CTS employees were integrated into CenturyLink. In spite of all the advance preparation, the company seems to have not been fully prepared. Also, still a telecom mentality rather than IT-focused. Lots of dinosaurs, bureaucracy and micro-management. Most of the consistent producers have left or are looking at new opportunities.

      Easy to learn, manageable schedule, supportive management

      Cons

      Changes in systems with many malfunctions, confusing workflows, policies set with little guidance (like figure it out yourself)

      Pros

      Good pay, great benefits, great people to work with, boss is great, etc.

      Cons

      Company is undergoing transformation, so it's a bit chaotic. Have to work with old stuff and new stuff at the same time. Hopefully that will change as we transform further.
