Unorganized, micromanaging environment - Front Desk Receptionist LuminaSkin Employee Review

Literally ZERO benefits here. No medical, no dental, absolutely NOTHING. The managing style here at LuminaSkin is a joke. You will be micromanaged every single day, moment, down to the second of your day. If you know your responsibilities and job duties, there’s no need for management to continuously reiterate what you need to do. The Spa Director is nice...but that’s about it. Her management style is best if left behind the desk and not on the floor. The spa director and owner Tatiana are in cahoots together on what goes down in the spa. If someone isn’t working out because of their own needs, such as requesting that you work an 11hr shift with a 30min lunch break....they’ll take it as,”that isn’t what we agreed on” and will try to make you feel bad if the entire shift can not be completed. There’s been other horror stories on how they’ve treated previous front desk staff members. Such as demoting a pregnant employee upon her return from maternity leave....how disgusting. I would not recommend this place of work. Not for the front desk staff...
