Pros
- Multiple finance integration activities throughout the year, contributing to a good environment - People are usually nice to have a chat with during these activities. - People are very mentally ill in the world lately, which means the company has a lot of profit despite incompetent leaders.
Cons
- Extremely difficult to get things done. To reach simple conclusions such as "the sky is blue", you need several word documents, Excel examples, PPT presentations and after so many versions of all the files, you don't even know what is really being discussed. - Leaders are very talented in creating problems instead of solutions. Zero pragmatic approach, you can't really understand who gives the final word or what are the next steps in any discussion as everyone wants to say something (even though they have no knowledge in the area) but no one really decides anything. - This feedback comes from other areas as well, not only finance. Seems all leadership is very difficult to move forward and solve problems. - You won't work extra hours because you need to or because there is work to be done, but because things were discussed / postponed for so long that the deadline (that was 1 year before) is now 1 week and everyone needs to rush.
