Pros

The technology was up to date. The developers that I worked with were professional and very social. There was a great many experts of their fields.

Cons

The decisions made by the company are odd to say the least. When I worked there, we had a huge project that the company put a lot of time and effort into. The project was finished and was opened to select few customers as a trial. However, suddenly the company decided the project isn't important enough and through it into the bin. After almost 1.5 years of hard work and insane research. Another case was with a different group related to sales. A new manager came in that was not part of that group, but was relatively successful in his field. However after talking to several employees it was clear the manager was more concentrated in pushing himself and the team, rather than improving the company goals. He was making a lot of noise around and eventually got to manage the whole group, purely on his connection to the higher management. Which caused the people who poured their hearts out to leave the company after years.

Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts in depth and with real sincerity 🙏 Sounds like there were some tough moments - especially when decisions are made which effect long term efforts. Totally get how frustrating that can be. Growing companies can sometimes make messy moves, sometimes they must to, in order to stay ahead of the game, but it can be very frustrating all together. We wish you Good luck in every path you'll choose next.

Pros

Team Culture - Lusha's Boston office is filled with like minded employees all working towards a common goal. This creates a high energy, high paced work environment where employees can grow personally and professionally. Start-up vibe - While Lusha has grown beyond the technical definition of a "start up" , the company still values and listens to internal feedback. Employees are given the freedom to pursue initiatives and projects that they think will impact the business. Work/Life Balance - While productivity demands are high for each employee, Lusha offers flexibility on WFH schedules, reimburses for commuting, and has a pristine office in the heart of back bay. Lusha Product - The product itself competes with industry leaders in the data space and continues to evolve/grow making conversations easier for anyone in a commercial role.

Cons

Growing Pains - Like any SMB, Lusha is not immune to growing pains and does go through changes in company direction / structure.
