Pros

High salary, good extra benefits

Cons

Very poor management that creates tensions between people and negative climate between departements; management talk behind other's back. Honesty and truth are not welcome, top management pushes constantly alternative facts on industry standards, cloud strategy, ... Management doesn't take accountability neither for their choices, if there are difficulties, people below are to blame. If you go there as an external consultant you'll be considered as perishable resource and you'll be kicked out as soon as customer / product issues araises. The tech lead for some products (not all) is very strange too, refusing progress and modernity in their techno stack. For its product common quality standards are put aside. Besides all that, there are very good engineers willing to continue to do their best to make the commonly used services live. Kudos to them, it requires a lot of strength to continue in such an environment

Pros

A definite benefit of our location is the plentiful parking and minimal traffic, which contribute to a stress-free commute and a more pleasant work environment

Cons

Currently, the company does not allow remote work from abroad, which limits flexibility and productivity. Additionally, there are discrepancies with the tracking of working hours that need to be addressed to ensure accurate reporting. Currently, there is no parental support program in place, such as partnerships with childcare providers or other family assistance services, which could greatly benefit employees with young children. There appears to be a disconnect between management and staff, with a tendency for decisions to be made without adequately considering the feedback and insights of employee It seems that promotions within the company are often influenced by personal interests rather than merit. This has led to a perception that career advancement is not always based on performance and qualifications.
