Lucky enough to have employed amazing administrative and clinical staff who go above and beyond to provide meaningful clinical care with genuine affection and care for the jobs they are doing, they are keeping the company alive

I wish I had read the reviews on Glassdoor prior to starting; as they are nothing but the truth. If you are looking to lose all motivation, work life balance, enthusiasm for your career and diminish your mental health, LycaHealth is the place for you. Overzealous management do nothing to support their team and use staff time to boost their egos and belittle their team. Management favourites are evident. Discussions regarding firing staff is discussed inappropriately in group forums as are HR concerns by the management. Working evenings & weekends is standard and an expectation. Spending the majority of the day in meetings listening to a few people boost their ego & gossip and belittle staff is common place. Despite committing so much time to the company when requesting time to attend funerals or for bereavement they’re only concern is how you’ll make up your time with absolutely no empathy. Staff turnover is high and staff are penalised for seeking support from HR. Racial micro-aggressions or “negative stereotypes” aren’t uncommon either. If you’re willing to spend your time in the role feeding management with information about poor performing staff to help them feel powerful when they penalise staff, this is the place for you. If you prefer to work collaboratively with your teams to find successful and positive solutions, run the other way.

Top spec diagnostic equipment, fantastic external contractors and specialists

For a company that professes to be committed to care, Lycahealh is anything but. A combination of an incompetent command structure, mixed with a vindictive ownership, Lycahealth is a truly dangerous organization. Low level staff turnover is so high, you can expect to work there for less than 1 year on average, before getting sick of being mistreated, bullied or taken advantage of. I would not recommend working at Lycahealth to a stray dog. Oh, and if you are a woman, don't expect to recieve any progression whatsoever. This is an arrogant male-dominated mess of a company.
